I mean I kind of agree with that with Them

“I mean, I kind of agree with that [with] Them’

A 23-year-old woman visiting a Disney park claimed on TikTok that she was “dress coded” and asked to wear a spare shirt.

User @toragrams didn’t specify which theme park she was at, but based on her TikTok bio, which identified her as Florida, outlets like Newsweek have suggested it was Walt Disney World in Orlando. According to the Disney World website, “Disney reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any person wearing clothing it deems inappropriate.”

With just $1,000 and a day, this Harlem bedroom gets a brand new look:

Regarding what is “inappropriate,” the site adds, “Clothing that inherently exposes parts of the skin that may be considered inappropriate for a family setting.”

This isn’t the first time a woman has gone viral for claiming a theme park worker called her outfit “inappropriate.” A year ago, a mom shared an entire saga on TikTok after a Six Flags employee allegedly asked her to leave the park down the length of her shorts, which went so viral that Six Flags actually responded. It’s not just limited to amusement parks, either — in June 2021, two 20-year-olds were asked to leave a bar because the manager said they were basically “topless,” and a few months later a woman was told to “wait outside”. while getting her car fixed for wearing a crop top.

In the case of @toragrams, she filmed herself in a black cropped cardigan tied in the middle. It was clear @toragrams wasn’t wearing anything under the cardigan, and one commenter claiming to have worked at Disney said that “the rule is your top can’t just have a string to hold it together.”

The TikToker didn’t seem bothered by the incident, even capturing the video, which now has nearly 6 million views, with, “I mean, I sort of agree [with] they look back on this video.”

The protocol for the “dress code” was that @toragrams received a coupon to pick up a new shirt. While @toragrams mentioned that the shirt was free for them, other viewers debated in the comments if that’s always the case.

The story goes on

Other commenters seemed confused as to why @toragrams’ shirt in particular was being questioned – considering most of her torso was covered by the cardigan.

“Honestly, this crop isn’t even bad. It’s just cute, what’s the problem?” one person asked.

“I don’t see anything wrong with your outfit…??” said another. “It’s hot in Florida…?”

But several people pointed out that when riding, the strings could come loose or, worse, get tangled up and potentially injure someone.

“I worked at Disney World, and while it’s NOT a bad roof…you get winds of over 80mph on roller coasters and rides,” someone pointed out.
