A debt of R$ 6,000 to the Itaú bank brought Gusttavo Lima’s name to Serasa, but the strange thing is that the singer didn’t even have an account there! “My name is dirty and will remain dirty! I will not pay a debt I do not owe. First of all, I don’t even have an Itaú account. What do I owe Itaú?” he explained of the alleged guilt that besmirched his name.
The sertanejo explained that he did not recognize the accusation: “Like everyone else, I was surprised. I think it could be a higher amount, right about R$ 6,000? […] It was a scam, I’m 100% sure. [Se eu tivesse dívida] would have paid. […] Now that the message is out I’m not paying because I don’t have to and as I’m embarrassed I’m not paying either.”

The singer made it clear that he’s proud of everything he’s accomplished in his career and grateful to be in a stable financial position. “All I have is the music she gave me, I’ve made the right investments with the team I have. I can tell you with my mouth full that everything we have is paid off. We have no funding,” he concluded.
Itaú commented on the case, stating that it was not involved in the business relationship between the parties and only issued the invoice to the company that made the collection. “The bank protested the document at the request of the company as defined in the contract for the provision of this type of service. Finally, she announces that the protest has already been cancelled.
