Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for an area from Donnacona to Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies across Quebec, Lévis and Montmagny.

The affected section extends from Donnacona to Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies via Quebec, Lévis and Montmagny.
A layer of ice of two to four millimeters could accumulate on surfaces such as sidewalks and roads. “Adapt your driving behavior to the changing road conditions,” warns the federal authority.

During this time, rain or drizzle will occur in the south of the province, including in the Montreal, Drummondville, Sherbrooke and Gatineau areas.
North of the St. Lawrence, in the Laurentians and Lanaudière and Mauricie, the rain mostly mixes with snow.
Temperatures are expected to drop below zero degrees Celsius from Friday night to Saturday. Light snow is expected in southern Quebec until Saturday morning.
