The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed on social media on Monday that it had killed a Hamas commander involved in the terror group's October 7 invasion of Israel, in which it overran the border and massacred 1,200 people.

In a post on X, the IDF said it had eliminated Adil Mismah, the commander of Deir al-Balah's Nukhba Company.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Mismah led terrorists into Kibbutz Kissufim and directed gunmen to wreak havoc on the communities of Nirim and Be'eri.
