Idris Elba, 49, is taking his rarely seen daughter Isan, 20, as his plus to the Beast premiere in NYC
Idris Elba had a very special asset for his appearance at the Beast premiere in New York City – his rarely seen daughter Isan.
The 49-year-old actor beamed as he posed next to his 20-year-old child at the event, which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday.
The movie star looked dapper for the evening as he wore a teal blazer and matching trousers.

Idris also wore a white top and completed his look with a pair of black shoes for the premiere.
Isan wore a chic checked Miu Miu blouse that was rolled up at the bottom and held together by a single button to reveal her tiny waist.
She paired the top with a matching mini skirt and a slim black belt, and she wore white socks rolled up high with silver open heels.
She wore glittery Miu Miu earrings and a hair clip that bore the name.

The actor shares his daughter with his ex-wife, makeup artist Hanne “Kim” Nørgaard, while he has a son named Winston, 8, with his former girlfriend Naiyana Garth.
Idris was also joined at the premiere by his wife Sabrina, 34, who looked glamorous in a long-sleeved black dress.
Idris stars in Beast – out August 19 – as a newly widowed scientist who returns to South Africa with his two daughters for a trip to a game reserve.
It comes as Idris is reportedly back in talks to star in the James Bond films.
The actor was confirmed as “part of the conversation” as the next 007 earlier this year by Barbara Broccoli, 61, producer of the Blockbuster franchise.

The role was last played by Daniel Craig, but his last appearance was as Bond in No Time To Die.
He had previously abandoned the idea of playing the spy and instead discussed the idea of playing a villain, but he is being considered again after achieving a high rank in market research, according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: “Idris has long been in talks to play a role in the next era of James Bond’s story and last year was considered for a role as the antagonist.”
Speaking to Variety, Barbara said, “It’s a big decision. It’s not just about filling a role. It’s about rethinking where we’re going.”
