Former Prime Minister Idrissa Seck is not at all happy with Ousmane Sonko. The latter, in an interview with Walf TV, claimed that the former president of CESE landed at his home one fine morning during Ramadan to discuss the national political situation with him.
“On March 27, before dawn, while I was eating before fasting, my wife came to me and told me that the guard had told her that Idrissa Seck was at the door and wanted to see me. I told my bodyguard to tell him I was not receiving anything. But after that I asked that we get him,” the leader of Pastef said during this interview.
The president of the Rewmi party denies the circumstances of their meeting described by Ousmane Sonko, calling him a “liar”.
“It was with great sadness that I listened as my younger brother Ousmane Sonko shamelessly lied about the circumstances and content of our interview on the 27th. He began fasting again because he was still ill, causing his delay in preparing and getting out. An illness that I did not personally observe during our interview, during which he appeared to be in particularly good shape,” emphasized the former President of ESEC right at the beginning.
He adds: “But despite the painful circumstances he is going through, or maybe even because of these circumstances, it would be beneficial for him to meditate on this verse from the Qur’an: ‘And the truth has come, falsehood has disappeared .” because the fake is destined to disappear. This will help him stop the manipulation. »
Fueled by a spirit of compassion in these circumstances and in line with prophetic teaching, Idrissa Seck believes he must first express his solidarity with Ousmane Sonko as he faces the trials he is going through.
“If it hadn’t been for the painful ordeal he is going through as he stands before his country’s courts on one hand for lying and defamation and on the other for the possibility of raping a 20-year-old girl, I would have been extremely hard on him . But in these circumstances, according to prophetic teaching, I must first express my solidarity with him in the trials he is going through. When these trials are over one way or another, I will be able to provide him with evidence, with evidence, the answer which is very simple: he knows he is lying and that the curse of Allah is upon the liar under these circumstances,” he concluded.
