But Iggy Azalea has revealed she’s come a long way from her humble beginnings in Mullumbimby, NSW, as she shared photos of the run-down house where she spent her childhood days.
The Fancy hitmaker, 32, shared a photo of a crumpled envelope with her real name Amethyst scrawled on her Instagram Story.

“I just found this envelope in an old bag,” she wrote. “It’s full of images from my childhood,” she added.
She then shared a series of snaps from her childhood in the township of 3,000.
This included her as a toddler dancing with her parents, as well as the rooms with exposed wiring and no flooring.

Iggy was born in Sydney with the name Amethyst Amelia Kelly. She moved to Mullumbimby, about 12 miles north of Byron Bay, when she was a baby and her artist father built her home on a 30-acre lot, using adobe by hand.

After investing $7.15 million for a five-bedroom house just last year, the rapper has now sold it for a staggering $8 million, pocketing a whopping $750,000 for the star.

Spread across 4,289 square feet of prime real estate in the glitzy enclave of Hidden Hills, the 32-year-old owned the home for just under 365 days and purchased the property in June last year.
Built in 1963, the home sits on 2.7 acres in a gated community.
While Azalea hasn’t explained why she decided to list the property so soon after purchasing it, she did speak of being involved in a dispute with her neighbor over renovations.

According to Dirt.com, Azalea hoped to make even more money from the sale and initially listed the home for $8.5 million.
The house has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a total living space of 485 square meters.
It also includes a large living room with vaulted ceilings and a grand fireplace, a master suite, and a spacious pool and spa combo.
The musician’s home is wired to a Sonos speaker system inside and outside the home.
According to the listing, Azalea has also secured permits for prospective buyers “to extend and remodel the home’s front elevation and interior entrance, which includes construction of a front porch, complete remodeling of the driveway and truck yard.”
The luxurious enclave of Hidden Hills is home to several celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Drake and Madonna among others.
