The Globo star endured a delicate situation with Fátima Bernardes
This is not new to anyone Fatima Bernardes is one of the great presenters in Brazil. However, the radical shift from journalism to entertainment that she experienced in the past was undoubtedly a surprise that touched everyone.
It’s worth remembering that the communicator left the bench at Jornal Nacional in 2012 and made her debut at the meeting, where she stayed until most of last year. After that, she made her debut with The Voice Brasil, a musical reality that represents her second challenge in the region.
While in charge of Encontro, Fátima Bernardes had a strong team to help her provide the best entertainment at one of Globo’s biggest attractions. Comedian Victor Sarro was one of the communicator’s first colleagues in this endeavor.
However, the famous man left the show shortly after the film was fired with Globo’s darling and the channel’s president. Speaking to the podcast Mais Que 8 Minutos, the star explained that while joking with a colleague in the parking lot, he committed an inappropriate act and was ratted out by the security chief.
“I was with Léo Lana and stuck my butt in the Globo window,” he recalls. So it wasn’t long before the story reached the ears of the channel’s former entertainment director, Manoel Martins, and he took action.
Fátima made this condition in order to continue at Globo and it was immediately ordered: “Never again”.

“Manoel Martins said he would resolve the situation and called me. My phone rang at midnight, it was a private number. I didn’t think the President of Globo would call me at this time. I thought it was Léo Lana and I said I’d spend the money on him,” he explained.
“I’ll pass the p*u on to you,” the comedian said on the phone, not knowing what he’d just done. A few minutes later Victor Sarro’s phone rang and it was Fatima Bernardes. Hello Victor, what are you talking about with Manoel? Did you say you’re going to beat him up?” he asked.
Upon noticing the wreckage, the comedian broke down in tears, had to sign a moral harassment warning the next day, and was finally fired shortly thereafter, which he says was because the presenter objected to his stance.
