The agents of the Department of Crime Prevention and Upgsp of the Police Headquarters, together with the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza, the Administrative Team of the Local Police, entered the imposing 18-storey building, the Belvedere Tower, with an entrance via Tommaseo and Piazzale Train Station. Both areas within the building, separated by two stairwells, were checked by the intervening personnel for the part within their area of responsibility.

Joint checks by the various police forces led to the identification of 135 people of different nationalities. Including most of Chinese nationality, from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt and Jamaica, 32 with police records. With the help of the second mobile detachment, the uniformed officers inspected numerous apartments and, thanks to the presence of immigration officials, the positions on the national territory were checked by two undocumented non-EU citizens, both Chinese, of whom today, January 13, one was expelled by being escorted to a detention center and the other on orders from the Questore to leave the territory within 7 days.
