A self-proclaimed “cougar” has taken to social media to remind everyone to feel confident putting on their beachwear this summer.
US-based TikTok creator Elle Anthony, who uses the alias @elleanthony52 on the platform, shared a positive video.
The 53-year-old told viewers she wanted to spread a message with the warmer months just around the corner.
But while most, in Elle’s words, “always talk about getting that body ready for the summer beach,” she wanted to offer a different perspective.
According to the content creator, who reportedly calls herself “cougar,” her video is a reminder for people to “love.” [themselves] as [they] are’ rather than feeling that they need to change.

The clip shows Elle looking stylish in a black two-piece bikini while gazing confidently into the camera lens.
Her face looks fresh and her extremely chic gray locks are slicked back, showing off her sun-kissed and clear complexion.
In the video, Elle says, “Hello my loves, I have a message for everyone.”
“Summer is just around the corner and everyone’s always talking about getting that beach body in shape for the summer.”
Elle continues, “Baby, if you’re ready to hit the beach and you’re not ashamed of how your body looks in a bathing suit, surf shorts or swim shorts, then you’re ready for that summer beach bodysuit.”
Next, Elle addressed the importance of loving yourself for who you are, without feeling the need to change your body.
In the video she explains: “This is your permission, your passport, to love yourself as you are, to enjoy your summer to the fullest and to show yourself as you want to show yourself.”
Elle brings up another point and shares an encouraging message.
The self-proclaimed cougar says people should feel happy and free in whatever they’re wearing, whether it’s a bikini, a thong or something else
She looks into the camera lens and continues.
“Wear that bikini,” she says. “Wear those thongs.” Wear those short shorts.
“Whatever you like, this is your summer,” she says.
Elle then concludes, “And remember, it’s just society that gives us criticism, labels and standards that we didn’t even ask for.”
“I love you, be you, be you, be happy, be free.”
