Emotions are running high in the I’m A Celebrity camp and tensions between Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix continue to rise in Saturday night’s episode.
While the couple found success with their infamous argument dubbed “Dad-gate,” they seemed to have managed to resolve their differences.
But after several days of tense conversations about not doing enough washing up, it seems things could escalate again between the two, with Nella exclaiming: “It’s just rice.”
After taking charge of the camp in Friday’s episode, the 26-year-old YouTuber reassigned camp duties by removing Fred from camp cook duty and putting him on the pot washer.
The First Dates star caused controversy the night before after claiming the pots and pans weren’t cleaned properly and remained dirty after dinner last night.
I’m A Celebrity’s Fred Sirieix, 51, infuriated campmates on Saturday’s episode as he fought to take on the role of camp chef
In the Bush Telegraph, Nella seemed upset when she said: “It’s just rice.” I’m not going crazy, it’s just rice. I’m going back to sleep’
To teach Fred a lesson, Nella and her assistant manager Danielle Harold decided that if he felt the pot washers weren’t doing a good enough job, he could wash them himself.
Josie Gibson and Tony Bellew have taken on the role of camp cooks, but Fred struggles to give up his power in the kitchen.
And he’s not just upsetting Nella, with both the This Morning presenter and the boxer becoming increasingly frustrated with the 51-year-old.
As Josie began breakfast, Fred asked, “Did you make the beans, Josie?” Did you soak them?’ before ordering Tony around with instructions on how to throw the plan into the fire.
“Lay it flat Tony, you need to make sure it’s flat. “Not completely flat…”
In the Bush Telegraph Fred said: “Today Tony and Josie are cooking their first breakfast.” Breakfast is essentially boiled rice. But there is a way to cook the rice.
“If not, the rice tastes bitter and is really unpleasant in the morning, so hopefully they’re doing it right.”
Back at camp he continued: “Josie, is the rice cooked?” How far are we from…’ before Josie replied: ‘It’s boiling. It’s still a bit heavy.’

Warning Josie and Tony Fred said in the Bush Telegraph: “If not, the rice will taste bitter and be really unpleasant in the morning, so hopefully they’ll do it right.”
Nevertheless, Josie and Tony seem to have risen to the challenge as their rice received rave reviews
She vented her frustration and said to the camera: “Tony and I are the chefs.” He is now a scourer. He has to let me take the reins. Only me and Tony can fit on this horse. No, Fred.’
Meanwhile, sous chef Tony told the Bush Telegraph: “Fred will do what Fred will do.” He’s a chef and watches over us while we cook.
“I know it’s a little annoying, Josie, and I’m telling you, it’ll get a reaction soon enough.” Just sit back, enjoy your popcorn, and wait for… [mimics fireworks].’
But Josie felt she had to say something and went to the bus to tell the new camp director, Nella, “He really interferes all the time.”
Nella replied: “My thing is that we came to the jungle to have fun and have new experiences, and everyone should have the opportunity to try new things. “If you want to cook…”
“He doesn’t cook anymore and I don’t think he’ll understand it,” Josie added.

The other housemates also noticed Fred’s controlling tendencies, as Nick Pickard said in the Bush Telegraph: “Last night Chef Fred had a hard time handing over the reins to Chef Tony and Josie.”
“It will be interesting to see how he copes at breakfast service this morning as I don’t think he did particularly well last night.”

Marvin praised, “I think this might be the cooking duo we never knew we needed.”
While Nigel said: “Yeah, bloody good people, really bloody good,” and Danielle added: “This is actually one of the best breakfasts.”
When Fred started his job as a pot washer, he said, “Washing dishes is by far my least favorite job.” But every single task has to be done. They all have to meet a standard.
“I will perform and deliver and everything will be spotless and clean.”
