And Scarlette Douglas, 35, has said she now hopes to follow in his footsteps by making the step from TV presenting to a career in music.

The Place In The Sun host revealed that she has been writing her own songs for years and may even record a single in 2023.

On the prospect of launching her music career, she told The Sun: “I would love to. As long as people would take me seriously, I would make sure I made good music.

“I come from a musical background and have always sung and danced. Maybe I’ll release an EP’.

She added: “I love entertainment, singing and dancing. As much as I love real estate development, I would love to do more entertainment shows.

Scarlette, who finished 10th on the ITV show, has presented A Place In The Sun and the home makeover show Love It Or List It since 2015 and is a guest presenter on Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine.

The news comes after her flatmate Chris Moyles recently described the camp’s confusion over Olivia Attwood’s whereabouts after she was forced to withdraw after just 24 hours because she required emergency room medical attention for anemia.

Speaking on his X radio show on Friday, he said: “Well first of all my first companion there was Olivia. We all felt so sorry for her because she walked all the way to camp, found her hammock and said, “Fine, I’ll sleep in a hammock.”

‘Put down a bag, went to the Bush Telegraph, talked to him, came back. I think she stayed until the food came. And then she disappeared. And you go and talk to the Bush Telegraph whenever you want, which is fine.

“And then we all talk for a bit and then someone says, ‘Where’s Olivia?’ We’re like, “Oh, maybe she just went to medicine or something.”

“Because I knew they were only keeping tabs on her because we’d spent a little bit of time together before, and if I say a little bit of time, 24 hours.

“And then she just never showed up and we’re like, ‘We’re guessing she’s gone.’ But we said, ‘Well, she was in a great mood. It’s not like she’s gone, I can’t do this with these idiots and I left.”

‘But I think she’s fine. She is fine. And we didn’t even get a chance to swap numbers with her because we didn’t have our phones with us.”
