“With the winter we’ve had, it has become clear to everyone that Pierre-Luc Lachance is living beyond his means. This guy doesn’t know what he’s doing. He doesn’t understand what he’s saying. Whether it’s the organization of snow removal or the processes in the town hall, it’s nonsense. This guy has too much responsibility for what he can handle. Someone else should have the snow clearance file,” Mr. Villeneuve thundered at around 9pm on Tuesday in an interview with the Journal at the exit of the municipal council.
As the city council wound down around 8 p.m. Tuesday, debate over a motion notice from Équipe Priorité Québec (ÉPQ) City Councilor Stevens Mélançon turned sour.
In his text, Mr Mélançon called for a plenary committee to be set up to clear snow. The Executive Committee accepted this advice, replying that the whole committee would take place “in the fall”.
