Accident involving 22 Cubans driving through Oaxaca

Late this week, local media reported a traffic accident involving 22 Cubans traveling illegally through the country. Six people were injured, three male and three female, when a van carrying migrants through the state of Oaxaca overturned.

The accident occurred when one of the vehicle’s tires burst on the road that connects Juchitán with Unión Hidalgo in the southeast of the country. The driver fled after the accident, the Oaxaca fire department told the Spanish television channel CNN.
