The relationship between Francine Ruel and her son Étienne will be the focus of a brand new documentary that promises to be pretty tough.

After his novel Anna and the childlike old man and the series Anna and Arnaudtwo projects inspired by her personal history, Francine Ruel melds fiction with reality in a brand new documentary.
In fact, on Wednesday, TVA announced the airing of reconnect, A documentary in which the actress and author tells about her relationship with her son Étienne, who lived on the street and struggled with drug problems. Francine Ruel will also meet Sophie and Thierry, two parents who are going through a similar situation to hers and who are also trying to reconnect with their respective children. It promises to be both touching and impactful.

Reconnection is initially available on TVA+ from November 1-8, otherwise you’ll have to wait until Tuesday, November 22 at 9 p.m. for the TV broadcast.
All episodes of Anna and Arnaud are available on TVA+. The grand finale of the series will air Tuesday, November 1st.
