Agatha (Eliane Giardini) will reveal her plan for revenge against the La Selva family in a tense conversation with Irene (Gloria Pires) in Terra e Paixão. The shot that Jonatas (Paulo Lessa) will fire to save Aline (Barbara Reis) from the attack ordered by Antônio (Tony Ramos) will affect the courage of the exconvict, who will threaten her rival in the cemetery: “ I will.” Destroy your damn family one by one.
The con man’s eldest son is hit by a bullet aimed at the girl from Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera. And the result will be tragic: Jonatas will be paraplegic and will have to use a wheelchair. Although Agatha is far from receiving the title of Mother of the Year, she will have blood in her eyes after what happened.
Unaware that her rival’s hatred of her family will soon explode, Irene seeks a moment of peace in front of the grave of her son, whom she accidentally killed in the fourth chapter. There she will talk about the latest events in his turbulent life.
“You couldn’t have left like that! Even though I know this boy is not my grandson, I need him to keep living. I want to raise this child as if he were my real son, to try to fulfill this.” Empty that you are gone, my love. To think that a part of you is here with me,” she will lament, invoking Danielzinho, whom she raised as a grandson but who is the son of Graça (Agatha Moreira) and Marino (Leandro Lima).
Eliane Giardini’s character will arrive next and step on the enemy’s head. “Everyone makes mistakes however they want, Irene. In fact, your whole life is a series of mistakes, isn’t it? A husband who doesn’t love you, a daughter who has gone crazy because she lives in a dysfunctional family. And a son who died in disgrace for his own mother,” he will trample underfoot.
“What are you doing here?” the Dondoca will be surprised. “I saw you enter the cemetery and decided to watch this melodramatic scene where the mother talks to her dead son up close,” the impostor sneers.
Her rival’s audacity will prove too much for Irene, who will try to drive her away from the cemetery. “Get out of here! Get out of my eyes! Who do you think you are to make fun of my pain? The pain of a mother, a role you never accepted,” you will suffer.
Agatha will reveal the true reason that drove her to pursue her enemy: her hatred for what happened to Jonatas. With all cards on the table, the criminal will take the opportunity to confess her plan for revenge against the La Selva family.
“Well, you made a big mistake precisely because you messed with my son. I know very well that the shot that hit Jonatas was due to your orders and those of Antônio. And now my son is condemned to sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. But it won’t stay that way. I didn’t come back to this city for nothing. I will destroy your damn family one by one,” he will proclaim.
Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes, Terra e Paixão is set in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will be broadcast until January next year, when it will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
