In a new biography published this month by journalist Walter Isaacson, Elon Musk shares details of his troubled relationship with his daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson, 19, who is transgender. According to the billionaire, Vivian “became a communist” and broke off ties with him.
The revelation came in an article published by Walter Isaacson in the Wall Street Journal, in which he takes a behindthescenes look at the time he spent accompanying Musk for the book.
The owner of X (formerly Twitter), Tesla and SpaceX said he learned about his daughter’s transformation through a third party. “Hey, I’m trans and now my name is Jenna. Don’t tell my father,” the daughter wrote to Musk’s brother’s wife.
According to the biographer, Musk was not angry when he heard the news, but his daughter’s decision to break up with him hurt him extremely.
“She has gone beyond socialism to be a complete communist and thinks every rich person is bad. “I made a lot of suggestions, but she doesn’t want to be with me,” says Elon Musk.
He attributes his daughter’s behavior to the progressive school that Vivian attended in Los Angeles (USA).
