Ana Hickmann gives first interview after Alexandre Correa’s attacks were revealed

She spoke of “financial problems in the family,” and during the conversation Alexandre intervened “aggressively.”
The chef also reported that the businessman argued with Ana and that the couple’s son “got pretty nervous” and was taken to his own room. The couple continued to fight.

They didn’t open and soon the house became quiet as Alexandre left. Some time later, military police arrived at the apartment to provide assistance to the victim.

Ana Hickmann was attacked by her businessman husband Alexandre Correa, on Saturday afternoon 11, at the couple’s home in Itu, inland São Paulo. She was taken to a city hospital and her left arm was immobilized.
According to the police report, the presenter was talking to her son in the kitchen when her husband heard it and didn’t like the content. The argument frightened the boy, who left the place. Alexandre is said to have pushed Ana against the wall and threatened to headbutt the presenter.
In order to free herself from her husband, the presenter tried to take her cell phone from the table and ask for help. The businessman closed the kitchen door and hit Ana on the arm, causing her to lock her husband out of the room and call the police. When the military police arrived, the businessman was no longer at home. In response to the situation, the moderator rejected the protection measures provided for in the Maria da Penha law.
Ana went to the hospital alone and was examined by an orthopedist. His left arm was unable to move due to a bruised elbow. In a statement, she confirmed the fight but did not mention the aggression.
“After a disagreement between Alexandre Correa and Ana Hickmann last Saturday (11), the military police were called and the presenter was taken to the police station to clarify the matter.
