The statement of the chef Maria da Anunciação Lima was published on Sunday 26 by Alexandre Correa, 52. She witnessed the fight between the businessman and his wife, presenter and model Ana Hickmann, 42, on November 11 when military police arrived.

According to Maria, who has been working at her family’s residence in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, for three years, it all started with an argument about money, a topic that came up again and again in the couple’s arguments.

“Statement from the employee Maria, who cooked in the house for three years. She makes it clear that there was never any physical aggression before or on November 11th,” Alexandre wrote on social media. Maria was interviewed on November 24 by delegate Ana Maria Gonçales Sola at the Women’s Defense Station (DDM) police station headquarters in Itu.

The document summarizes what the employee said. She explained that she “never witnessed physical aggression, but that she always noticed arguments between Alexandre Bello Correa and Ana and that the reason for the arguments was generally financial.”

Regarding the brawl involving police at Ana Hickmann’s home on November 11, Maria said that around 3 p.m. she was in the kitchen working and Ana was talking to her nineyearold son Alezinho. She spoke of “financial problems in the family,” and during the conversation Alexandre intervened “aggressively.”

The chef also reported that the businessman argued with Ana and that the couple’s son “got pretty nervous” and was taken to his own room. The couple continued to fight.

“[Maria] clarifies that he did not hear any threats or insults from the competitors during the fight, but that they argued violently. “A few minutes later, the victim Ana appeared at the door of the witness’s room and said in tears that her husband had injured her arm and that he had called the military police,” an excerpt from the statement said.

She also said that she helped Ana Hickmann and then brought her into the room. He then locked the door and Alexandre started knocking, asking Ana to open it so they could talk. They didn’t open and soon the house became quiet as Alexandre left. Some time later, military police arrived at the apartment to provide assistance to the victim.

What happened to Ana Hickman?

Ana Hickmann was attacked by her businessman husband Alexandre Correa, on Saturday afternoon 11, at the couple’s home in Itu, inland São Paulo. She was taken to a city hospital and her left arm was immobilized.

According to the police report, the presenter was talking to her son in the kitchen when her husband heard it and didn’t like the content. The argument frightened the boy, who left the place. Alexandre is said to have pushed Ana against the wall and threatened to headbutt the presenter.

In order to free herself from her husband, the presenter tried to take her cell phone from the table and ask for help. The businessman closed the kitchen door and hit Ana on the arm, causing her to lock her husband out of the room and call the police. When the military police arrived, the businessman was no longer at home. In response to the situation, the moderator rejected the protection measures provided for in the Maria da Penha law.

Ana went to the hospital alone and was examined by an orthopedist. His left arm was unable to move due to a bruised elbow. In a statement, she confirmed the fight but did not mention the aggression.

“After a disagreement between Alexandre Correa and Ana Hickmann last Saturday (11), the military police were called and the presenter was taken to the police station to clarify the matter. Through her press office, Ana Hickmann thanks her for her affection and the fans “solidarity and informs that he is at home and fortunately has not suffered any major effects on his physical integrity,” the text says.
