In India, the intensive campaign for state elections continues

With just a few days left for the end of the polling period in Madhya Pradesh, political groups and their poll bettors are sparing no effort to woo voters in the state, whose polls will be held on November 17.

In this area, the leaders of this organization, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Ministry chief Amit Shah, as well as officials of the central and local governments, will try to divert voters’ sympathy towards the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister Kamal Nath, among other Indian National Congress leaders, will also campaign in Madhya Pradesh, as will representatives of the Samajwadi, Bahujan Samaj, Aam Aadmi, Gondwana Gantantra parties and independent candidates.

In addition, Modi will travel to Chhattisgarh, where elections will also take place in their second and final phase next Friday.

Similarly, senior Congress MP and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel are holding public meetings in different parts of the state and senior Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul are scheduled to visit the territory on November 14 and 15 respectively.

It is also known that senior Aam Aadmi leaders will attend rallies there.

In Rajasthan, however, the panorama is similar ahead of the elections on the 25th of this month, in which candidates from the BJP, Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party and Rashtriya Loktantrik Party will vie for 200 parliamentary seats.

Also a strong competitor is the Communist Party of India (Marxists), which is particularly active in areas with large trade union movements and farming communities and focuses on issues such as land reform, labor rights and social justice.

Finally, after the break for the Diwali festival, campaigning resumed this Monday in Telangana, where elections will be held on November 30.

The BJP has prepared a calendar for the unveiling of its leaders in the state during the week, led by Modi, who will hold extensive tours and public meetings over three days.

Likewise, Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader Chandrasekhar Rao, Labor Party leader K Taraka Ramarao and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader Asaduddin Owaisi will try to encourage voting for their political outfits in Telagana.

Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi of the Congress are expected to remain in the state till the end of the election campaign.
