His sister bothers him, and he, a thirteen-year-old from Queens, New York, stabs her, killing her. According to US media reports today, the couple were home alone with their 8-year-old brother and when officers arrived at the home, they found the teenager with stab wounds to his arms, legs and face. The girl reported that her brother attacked her. Now the 14-year-old is being taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical but stable condition with a collapsed lung. The boy first explained that he called 911 and said there was a thief and then confessed to stabbing his sister. Neighbors told the New York Post that the boy has autism and they often hear him scream. The mother, 42-year-old Rupiah Begum, said: “I don’t know what happened, usually everything is fine. They play together and there is no problem.”
The woman said she was called in an emergency at work at a McDonald’s about five minutes from the home in the Jamaica neighborhood when she received a call that her son had stabbed his sister. While his father, a taxi driver, was traveling in Bangladesh.
