Renato (Gabriel Santana) will have a crisis of conscience after killing the jaguar that Juma’s mother (Alanis Guillen) is enchanted in in “Pantanal.” In the story, Tenório (Murilo Benício) gets drunk and goes out with the young man to hunt down the anaconda that threatens him. The two are surprised by the jaguar and the villain, when attacked by the animal, encourages his son to shoot.

Despite feeling guilty for a while, Renato will still show his dirty side. When the farmer hears that the farmer is hiring an assassin to execute Maria Bruaca (Isabel Teixeira), Alcides (Juliano Cazarré) and the Leôncio family, the boy says to his father that he wants to learn from him: “That’s all what i ever wanted in this life. Assuming the position of the favorite son”.
