For the second time in two days, Ukraine and Russia attacked each other with dozens of drones on Sunday: both countries' anti-aircraft guns shot down almost all of them, but a Ukrainian was killed in Odessa by the debris of a downed drone.

The majority of the attacks occurred overnight but were confirmed later in the day. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, at least 35 Ukrainian drones were shot down in three regions in southeastern Russia: Most of the aircraft targeted an air base in Morozovsk in the Rostov region, which the Russian Air Force uses for its attacks on Ukraine. According to the ministry, all drones were shot down.

Also on Sunday, Russia launched at least 20 Iranian-made drones over various cities in southern and western Ukraine. There had also been similar drone launches in the previous evenings, in which both sides shot down dozens of aircraft.
