Susana Vieira remains hospitalized at a hospital in Rio

Rio Susana Vieira, 79, took to Instagram this Sunday (7th) to thank fans for their affection and provide information about her health. The actress has been hospitalized since Friday (05) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital in Copacabana, Rio’s South Zone. She tested positive for Covid19 on July 12 and is treating the consequences of the disease in the lungs. The artist was diagnosed with leukemia in 2015 and therefore needs to be monitored further. There is no forecast for an increase yet.
“I’m here to thank you for all the messages of affection and love you are sending… Thank you so much, dear ones! I’m still doing the drug cycle and soon I’ll be home, God willing! I love you,” Susana wrote.
Friends and fans sent loving messages to the TV veteran via the comments. “Health and peace, friend! All the best to you,” wished Fafá de Belém. “Get well soon,” commented one netizen. “Everything will be fine and it will be fine soon,” said another. “You’re a fortress,” said a third.
The last soap opera Susana directed was Éramos Seis on TV Globo. In the storyline she played Emilia. Last year the artist won a painting, “Susana Sem Filtro”, in the program “Se Joga”. Since the attraction ended, the actress has stayed away from global programming. Recently the artist asked Boninho, the director of TV Globo, for a job. It wasn’t long before netizens were cheering her participation in Big Brother Brasil 23.
