Quebec actor François Arnaud landed a role in On the waya new American film filming in Maine and New York this winter.
According to an article published on Variety magazine's website on Monday, the Jaclyn Bethany-directed drama tells the story of a small-town Maine barmaid who agrees to pose for a painter. The relationship that develops between the two women will challenge their respective lives.
The two main roles are played by Alex Sarrigeorgiou and Jennifer Ehle. François Arnaud takes on the role of the barmaid's friend, a local chef.
Filming for the film will begin in Maine in a few days and will move to New York in February.
François Arnaud, who has had an international career for several years, recently starred in the second season of “Yellowjackets” and in the film “Detective Marlowe,” released earlier this year.
