Will fantasy managers see Austin Ekeler in Week 4?

Stephania Bell attempts to analyze Austin Ekeler’s social media behavior to determine whether he will be healthy in Week 4.

Who should you start with? Who should you sit on? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid using an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll be posting fantasy-related updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists . All rankings cited in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff.

Official inactive players on Sunday should arrive approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: approximately 8:00 a.m. ET for the London game, 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for the late afternoon games.

Update regularly to get the latest information.

9:30 a.m. ET London game

Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, ATL – Active
Impact: He still has to play in 2023. Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier are more than capable of handling things, but you might see him on the field for a few snaps.

Zay Jones, WR, JAX — OUT OF
Impact: Christian Kirk and Calvin Ridley should both have more targets than usual.

Jamal Agnew, WR, JAX — Inactive
Effect: Oh, look! Even more goals for Kirk and Ridley!

Play at 1 p.m. ET

Justice Hill, RB, BAL – Questionable
Impact: He is expected to play, but the final mix of Hill, Gus Edwards and Melvin Gordon III is uncertain.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, BAL — OUT OF
Impact: Nelson Agholor benefits most from his absence.

Rashod Bateman, WR, BAL — OUT OF
Impact: Zay Flowers and Devin Duvernay are the only other healthy WR options besides Agholor.

Jonathan Mingo, WR, CAR – Questionable
Impact: He appears ready to exit the league’s concussion protocol and play on Sunday.

Miles Sanders, RB, CAR – Questionable
Impact: Chuba Hubbard would have a lot of touches if Sanders (who is expected to play) has to miss that ball.

Chase Claypool, WR, CHI – Expected to be inactive
Impact: After criticizing his deployment earlier in the week, Claypool will reportedly be inactive in Week 4. Equanimeous St. Brown is expected to play for the first time this season.

Irv Smith Jr., TE, CIN — OUT OF
Impact: Tanner Hudson caught two passes in Week 3 while Smith was out.

David Njoku, TE, CLE – Questionable
Impact: Njoku may still be able to play after an off-field accident. Harrison Bryant and Jordan Akins are ready to step in if he can’t.

Deshaun Watson, QB, CLE – Questionable
Impact: Shoulder issues make this a game-time decision. Dorian Thompson-Robinson is ready to take over the huddle, but the current expectation is that Watson will give it a try.

Tyler Higbee, TE, LAR – Questionable
Impact: He hasn’t taken part in training for most of the week, but signs still point to him starting this training.

Salvon Ahmed, RB, MIA – Questionable
Impact: Even if he returns to the field quickly, De’Von Achane may have already staked his claim to Miami’s No. 2 RB role.

Derek Carr, QB, NR – Questionable
Impact: This is a last minute decision. If Carr can’t go, Jameis Winston would get the starting job, with the usual gimmick plays planned for Taysom Hill.

Quez Watkins, WR, PHI — OUT OF
Impact: Olamide Zaccheaus will start in his place, but is still a long way from making a fantasy impact.

Treylon Burks, WR, TEN — OUT OF
Impact: Expect an increase in fantasy value for both WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and TE Chigoziem Okonkwo.

4 p.m. ET games

Keaontay Ingram, RB, ARI – Questionable
Impact: Look for Emari Demercado to replace James Conner if Ingram sits.

Marquise Brown, WR, ARI – Questionable
Impact: He seems to have a tendency to be able to play.

Austin Ekeler, RB, LAC – Doubtful
Impact: Joshua Kelley is expected to be the Chargers’ starter in Week 4, as Ekeler will likely be rested before the Week 5 bye.

Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, LV — OUT OF
Impact: Garoppolo was unable to clear the league’s concussion protocol. According to reports, rookie Aidan O’Connell – rather than veteran Brian Hoyer – will start at quarterback for the Raiders.

Elijah Mitchell, RB, SF – Questionable
Impact: Jordan Mason and/or Tyrion Davis-Price would claim his touches behind Christian McCaffrey.

Deebo Samuel, WR, SF – Questionable
Impact: Brandon Aiyuk is not on the final injury report and Samuel is currently expected to join him in the Week 4 starting lineup.

Jauan Jennings, WR, SF – Doubtful
Impact: Ronnie Bell enters the WR mix for the 49ers.

Game on Sunday evening

There are currently no major fantasy-relevant injuries listed.
