What fantasy managers should expect from Javonte Williams

Stephania Bell discusses whether fantasy managers can expect Javonte Williams to play against the Jets this week.

Who should you start with? Who should you sit on? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid using an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll be posting fantasy-related updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists . All rankings cited in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff.

Official inactive players on Sunday should arrive approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: approximately 8 a.m. ET for the London game, 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for the late afternoon games.

Update regularly to get the latest information.

4 p.m. ET games

Keaontay Ingram, RB, ARI – Questionable
Impact: If he sits, Emari Demercado and Corey Clement would back up James Conner.

Tee Higgins, WR, CIN – Questionable
Impact: He is not expected to play. Kwamie Lassiter II was called up from the practice squad.

Javonte Williams, RB, DEN – Questionable
Impact: Although he says he’s doing well, a hip injury doesn’t bode well for playing time. He is a game time crier. Jaleel McLaughlin could get a chance to take over the lead back duties.

Cooper Kupp, WR, LAR – Activated via IR
Impact: He is expected to play without restrictions. Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell should both see less work than before, but not necessarily much less.

Rashaad Penny, RB, PHI – Doubtful
Impact: He’s been a healthy inactive several times this season, the fact that he’s dealing with an illness just gives Philadelphia a real reason to play this time around.

Game on Sunday evening

Elijah Mitchell, RB, SF — OUT OF
Impact: He could definitely be out for some time. Jordan Mason will be Christian McCaffrey’s replacement.

9:30 a.m. ET

Zay Jones, WR, JAX – Active
Impact: He has been out since week 2, but can finally return to action. Jamal Agnew is also active. Tempera fantasy expectations for both.

Play at 1 p.m. ET

Justice Hill, RB, BAL – Active
Impact: Limited in practice, but there should at least be some action behind Gus Edwards.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, BAL – Active
Impact: WR Rashod Bateman was removed from the injury report earlier in the week and will also start.

Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, DET — Inactive
Impact: With Gibbs unable to play, expect David Montgomery to have a field day.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, DET — Inactive
Impact: Josh Reynolds and Kalif Raymond will likely start at WR for the Lions despite Reynolds (active) nursing a groin injury. Jameson Williams should also see some action, although his conditioning (or rather lack thereof following his suspension) will limit his snaps.

John Metchie III, WR, HOU – Active
Impact: He could challenge Robert Woods for some targets as the team’s No. 3 WR.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, IND – Active
Impact: He will play, but may be limited to a snap count to help get him back into action.

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, NE – Active
Impact: Even though he’s had limited training all week, he’s going to try.

Juwan Johnson, TE, NO — OUT OF
Impact: Jimmy Graham and Foster Moreau may see some additional targets.

Derek Carr, QB, NR – Active
Impact: His shoulder is obviously still bothering him, but he played in Week 4. He will start this week.

Saquon Barkley, RB, NYG — Inactive
Impact: He’s reportedly getting closer, but still not ready. Matt Breida didn’t do much in the weeks that Barkley was out.

Pat Freiermuth, TE, PIT — OUT OF
Impact: Not a surprise given the bye week coming up. Darnell Washington will start in his place.

Treylon Burks, WR, TEN — OUT OF
Impact: Kyle Philips returns from IR and will look to fill the void.
