Incredible moment: A wealthy LA father points his gun at masked intruders who tried to break into a luxury home with his wife, nanny and baby, sending them fleeing in a hail of bullets

This is the incredible moment a wealthy Los Angeles father pointed a gun at two masked intruders who tried to break into his home.

The unidentified father was approached from behind by one of the masked robbers as he walked to his home in the affluent Mid-City neighborhood around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The homeowner then grabbed his gun and started a shootout with the intruders.

“There was nothing in my house worth dying for. But I was willing to die for my family,” the man told KABC.

He added that his five-month-old baby, wife and nanny were all in the house at the time of the incident. The average home price in Mid-City is more than $1 million.

The frightening incident comes at a time when crime in Democratic-run Los Angeles has surged following the defund policing movement. Lax law enforcement has led to an exodus of residents to Republican states like Texas and Florida.

Home surveillance footage shows the moment the man locks his car in the driveway and looks for his keys with a drink in his other hand.

The two intruders then jump over the moving fence surrounding the house and one of them runs behind the homeowner.

The father, a middle-aged white man, quickly turns around and throws his hot tea at the suspect, just before he pulls his gun out of his pants and shoots the two intruders.

As shots rain down on the police, the two masked attackers scatter while one shoots the homeowner.

The father then follows one suspect, who jumps over the side fence, while the other jumps over the front gate and flees the scene.

The father and husband said he felt “out of nowhere” someone behind him stick a gun in his back.

After the attack, he and his family filed a police report with the LAPD’s Olympic Division.

“It’s a matter of time before these people get caught.” “I think they should just choose a new career before they end up in prison,” the father told KABC.

The homeowner wasn’t sure if he hit one of the intruders, but he told Fox11 that if anyone else tried to harm him and his family again, “they’re going to die for trying to get into this.” to enter the house.”

The law made California the only U.S. state to impose a separate tax on guns and ammunition.

Money raised from the increased tax rates will be used for security improvements at public schools in the state, particularly in areas where gangs are active.

Funds from the federal gun tax have been allocated to wildlife conservation and hunter education programs over the past 100 years.
