An Australian fisherman has been left in an epic fight with a monster crocodile after the predator tried to snag his catch for lunch.
The man was fishing on a small boat in the Northern Territory when the ten foot crocodile tried to steal the big fish he had on the hook.
In incredible footage released Thursday, the fisherman quickly realized he had caught more than he expected when the crocodile appeared at the end of his rod with the fish in his mouth.

The man said he was fishing in the murky waters of Australia’s Top End on April 19 when he had to battle the crocodile trying to steal his catch.
“We managed to fight the crocodile, steal back the fish, rescue the fish and catch it,” he wrote in the video’s YouTube caption.
The male struggles to hold on to his fishing pole as it bends under the apex predator’s weight.
In the video you can hear the man talking to his friends. As the crocodile swam away from the boat, he said, “I can’t stop him.”
The determined fisherman can be heard grunting and moaning as he drags the crocodile back to the boat.
“Come here, big one,” he said. ‘Let go, pig.’
As the crocodile approaches, the man tells his friend to hit the fish thief on the head, hoping it will let go.
Mickey, the fisherman’s friend, uses the long handle of a fishing net to deliver a quick hit on the predator’s head.
The crocodile quickly frees the fish from its mouth and disappears into the murky water.
Loud cheers and laughter could be heard on the boat after the “holy shit moment”.
The proud fisherman said it was the first time the guide had seen a man fight for a fish with a crocodile and won.
