The final episode of Indefendable before the holidays ended with gunfire in broad daylight in Old Montreal, and it was the obnoxious Frédéric Legrand, played by Martin-David Peters, who was targeted. Will the criminal defense attorney survive his injuries?

The tension will continue until the return of the daily on January 9th, Pixcom producer Izabel Chevrier did not want to reveal the fate reserved for Me Legrand by the authors of “Indéfendable”.
The attempted murder took place outside the Lapointe-MacDonald offices during the day. Trainee Inès (Nour Belkhiria) and Me Legrand’s son came to the scene helplessly.

Who wanted to kill Me Legrand?
Frédéric Legrand, who was never very sympathetic, especially with Inès, has several enemies. His client was Greg Renaud (Olivier Aubin), who runs a criminal organization, and he had to deal with Greg’s menacing right-hand man, Alexis (Samuel Côté). Both had reasons to overtake Me Legrand.
The first because Me Legrand cooperated with the police by delivering them a message from Greg about “Shark”, the second because Me Legrand was in a romantic relationship with his girlfriend Jessica (Émilie Lajoie). The latter, unhappy at being dropped by Me Renaud, may also have sponsored the attack.
We remember that the tension in Me Legrand went up a notch after he was recently beaten. Paranoid, he even grabbed the gun lying around in a drawer in Me Lapointe’s (Michel Laperrière) office.
The investigation into the attempted murder of Me Legrand will take a long time in the other half of the season and investigator Maxime Dubois (Mathieu Baron) will of course be at the forefront of finding who or who is responsible.
This whole story is inspired by the murder of three Montreal attorneys. Frank Shoofey, the Mafia lawyer, was killed outside his rue Cherrier office in 1985, then Me Paul Beaudry and Me Sidney Leithman, who were defending two Colombian traffickers, were shot dead in 1991.

The Indefensible team is in the process of editing episodes 100 through 120, which will conclude the first season. Filming, we recall, ended on November 11.
