Two journalists were arrested in Delhi last night as part of a massive police operation that searched the homes of more than forty journalists, illustrators, historians and publishers since the early hours of the morning. The news was released by police late yesterday. Those arrested are the founder of the online news site NewsClick and the human resources managers Prabir Purkayastha and Amit Chakravarthy, who are accused of accounting irregularities and hidden financing from abroad, but the UAPA code, the terrorist one, was also cited against them and the conspiracy Activities punished against India.
