Microsoft's presentation revealed the new Indiana Jones game, produced by the same company as Wolfenstein: The New Order

A few years ago, Microsoft announced the development of a new game based on Indiana Jones, which would be produced by MachineGames, the same developer of the franchise. Wolfenstein. Now the game has been revealed to the world and there is a first trailer showing it being played in first person, which has apparently divided opinion among fans online.

During the first Developer Direct of 2024, Microsoft showed off some of the titles coming to Xbox and PC, with the Indiana Jones adaptation being the big highlight. Indiana Jones and the Big Circlewhich is the name of the game, seemed to be popular with everyone until the first gameplay scenes were shown and it was revealed that it would be played in the first person perspective.
 
Many believed that the game might be similar to other games of this style, as it was a title based on a series of adventure films Grave robbers or Unexplored. MachineGames, responsible for great titles like Wolfenstein: The New Order, decided to continue with what he already mastered and delivered an FPS with shots, punches and whips. It makes sense, even if it seems a bit strange for this intellectual property.
In the presentation, it was revealed that the game will not take place entirely in first person, as the camera will sometimes have to move away and show the realistic model based on Harrison Ford, which sets the action in third person. It's not hard to find those on the Internet who celebrated this choice, and there are also some people outraged that the new Indiana Jones is a Harrison Ford portable simulator.

From the few scenes in the trailer you can see that the character in the game is not voiced by the actor. The character was confirmed to be voiced by Troy Baker, who plays Joel The last of us.
