Hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes on the Indonesian island Java after the volcanic eruption Mount Semeru happened triggered a few hours ago the tsunami warning in Japan. As the ash plumes rise almost two kilometers high into the atmosphere, authorities are advising people to stay at least eight kilometers away from the crater. As the volcanic plume continues to drift along the river southeast of Mount Semeru, experts have warned people in the area to avoid the eight-mile area.
