Body positive influencer Karina Irby was humiliated on Monday when she was diagnosed with a skin condition during a pedicure.

The 33-year-old bikini designer has opened up about the battle she has fought throughout her life with eczema, which has left her skin covered in scars and “white patches”.

In an emotional Instagram video, she said she now feels “good” about her body and wants a pedicure – something she has previously avoided because of her skin.

Unfortunately, Karina’s bravery did not boost her confidence, but rather earned her judgment from her podiatrist.

“I have bumps, lumps, scars, I look completely different. “But this lady looked at me like I was a pure disease,” the blonde beauty said in an emotional video.

Karina said the woman had a disgusted look on her face throughout the treatment and constantly picked at “textured” areas of skin on her legs.

The influencer described the moment as “the worst pedicure experience of her life” and said she was “mortified” by the woman’s reaction to her legs.

“I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole,” she said.

She added: “During the entire pedicure I couldn’t relax. “I felt so uncomfortable. I just watched her looking at my skin… It’s just skin. I’m not a walker.’

Shortly after posting the video she filmed in her car after her pedicure, Karina shared a picture of herself with tears in her eyes.

“Kindness is so simple. I really don’t understand it. Why act so loudly and so carelessly? Surrounded by people who cause a stir. About what? White spots on my skin?’ She wrote.

“If you’re so worried, why don’t you ask privately?” Why did you feel the need to make a loud announcement and make big hand gestures?
