On November 18, two MSF minibuses were shot at in the streets of Gaza as MSF teams and their families attempted to flee to the south of the country.

Doctors Without Borders points out the Israeli army’s responsibility for the shootings that left two people dead in Gaza on November 18. This was an NGO convoy that was trying to escape to the south of the country, Franceinfo revealed on Friday in a document from Doctors Without Borders. The NGO is demanding an explanation from the Israeli authorities and an independent investigation.
The attack occurred on November 18 during Israel’s offensive against Al-Chifa Hospital in northern Gaza. The soldiers had ordered his evacuation. Israel assured that Hamas was using this facility as a military base.
Médecins Sans Frontières says vehicles were ‘deliberately shot at’
On the Médecins Sans Frontières website we can read a press release dated November 18 in which the NGO denounces “a deliberate attack on a convoy evacuating its personnel.” Doctors Without Borders assures that the cars were “clearly identified by the organization’s logos” and that two of them were “deliberately shot at.”
According to MSF, the team’s statements indicate the Israeli army’s responsibility for this attack. A member of the NGO claims to have seen tanks and snipers stationed on the roof of a building shortly before the shooting that left a relative and a neighbor dead. He also claims they shot him.
Doctors Without Borders also accuses the Israeli army of deliberately destroying the NGO’s vehicles with a bulldozer and tanks two days later, on November 20, despite evidence in this case. That day, one of the MSF members actually filmed five marked vehicles being burned from the NGO’s office in Gaza.
