Injured again in Russian attacks on cities news

Russia attacked Ukrainian cities again with drones and missiles last night. Nine people were injured in the southern city of Kherson, including four children, Mayor Roman Mrotschko announced on Telegram. The capital Kiev and Ukraine's second-largest city, Kharkiv, were also targeted in the attacks.

The head of Kiev's military administration, Serhiy Popko, said several Iranian-made Shahed combat drones were intercepted by air defense. According to initial findings, there were no casualties or damages. The attack was carried out from the Black Sea. It was the fifth Russian attack on Kiev since the beginning of the month.

According to the Ukrainian army, a total of 19 Shahed drones were fired from the Russian-annexed Crimean peninsula, 18 of which were destroyed.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported at least two impacts near residential buildings. He did not provide any information about possible victims. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the projectiles were S300 surface-to-air missiles fired from the Russian border region of Belgorod.
