A shocking car crash caught on dashcam has blown up online.
The video shows a white van going through a red light at an intersection in Victoria.
The driver at the wheel of the car with the camera installed then bizarrely puts his foot on the ground and crashes into the vehicle, shattering his own windshield and causing the van to tip on its side.
The video was recorded in Derrimut, Victoria, according to Dash Cams Australia.
Some commentators suggested the driver was “teaching him a lesson” about never running red lights.
“This driver decided to sacrifice himself to teach the van driver a lesson. Thank you for your service. You might want to consider a t72 tank for your next vehicle. I heard they’re getting cheap these days,” said one.

But most were stunned by the fact that the dashcam driver sped further ahead instead of letting the offending vehicle through.
Others condemned the driver for appearing to have done whatever it took to cause the accident.
“I hope the driver’s guide dog was okay,” added one.
“Be right and get there without banging your head on the windshield. I choose the latter,” said another.
“Van driver was stupid to red run but it seems the driver of the car could have easily prevented this accident just by braking. Where the hell was he looking??? said another.
