Pete Wicks shared a sweet new snap of him and best pal Sam Thompson on Instagram on Monday after the Made In Chelsea star won I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Sam, 31, was crowned King of the Jungle on Sunday, beating retired boxer Tony Bellew, who came second, and ex-politician Nigel Farage, who came third.
After his farewell interview with presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Sam walked across the suspension bridge where he was greeted by his best friend Pete, 35.
The former TOWIE star replaced Sam's girlfriend Zara McDermott, 26, to go to Australia as she starred in Strictly Come Dancing while they had to decide – before she was sacked.
In Pete's words, the reality star said it was first come, first served, although Zara was eliminated from the show quicker than everyone thought, so he wouldn't be giving up his ticket down under.

After the show ended, Sam shared a photo of them on Instagram and captioned it: “What a guy @p_wicks01 you don't see everything but you learned a lot of lessons from this guy has some confidence. ” from them. I have loved you for a long time, my husband.
Fans loved their bromance and the couple soon got their own E4 show, Pete and Sam's Reality News, where they discussed reality TV updates.
The duo then appeared together in a celebrity spin-off series of The Circle for Stand Up to Cancer in 2021.
Pete and Sam overtook the other celebrity players by posing as Countdown presenter Rachel Riley to take third place.

Now the pair have their own podcast together called Staying Relevant and have had many famous guests including GK Barry, Chloe Burrows and The Whitehalls.
In addition to their podcast, the buddies' working relationship also sees them playing pranks on each other in viral social media videos, which often feature Sam's enthusiasm and desire to please coupled with Pete's moodiness.
When Sam spoke about their long-standing friendship earlier this year, he said they were like “yin and yang.”
He told OK magazine: “I think that's why we work so well together. “I can really balance Pete.
“There are times when I call him and just ask, 'How are you?' And he says, “Don’t do that,” but I won’t let him hang up until he tells me how he feels.
“And there are other things where he teaches me to be a little more “Pete.” So I think we help each other mentally.'
Pete added: “Sam is always there for me and vice versa, so that's good. “Mostly good for him, but sometimes good for me too.”
Sam continued: “The first person I go to with a problem is Pete.” It says: Pete, my dad, Pete again, maybe Zara, then Louise [sister Louise Thompson]. Pete has a lot of life experience, so he’s usually been through it, whatever it is.”

Sam also told the publication that Pete would be both his best man and the godfather of his future children when he and Zara get married and have children.
He said, “If we do it [have children], Pete is 100% the godfather. And if we get married one day, he'll be the best man. The bachelor will be in Las Vegas, Pete has to organize that.'
Sam formed close bonds with Tony and Marvin Humes in the jungle, but Pete insisted these bromances “wouldn't last” against his friendship with the star.
Speaking to Closer, Pete said: “I absolutely love Marvin, I think he's wonderful.” But what you're seeing is what I can only describe as a holiday romance. It won't last.
“When things come back to reality, Sam will know where his bread is buttered. “He will realize that there is only one man in his life, and that is me.”
During Sam's jungle sojourn, Pete also defended his partner, saying that Sam “should not be defined by his ADHD and autism.”
Speaking to Web, he said fans needed to “embrace” Sam's exciting personality after he was labeled “attention-seeking” and “annoying” by viewers.
Pete admitted that although Sam can be “annoying” and is a bit high-strung when first meeting him, he urged the I'm A Celeb audience to enjoy his positive attitude.

Sam was diagnosed with ADHD and autism after undergoing tests in his Channel 4 documentary Is This ADHD? and said the realization was a “weight lifted from his shoulders.”
Pete says his friend's diagnosis means he will struggle with life in the jungle, but that shouldn't stop ITV viewers from getting to know the real Sam on a more personal level.
Pete said: “Sam's a breeder, not a showerer, let's put it that way.” I know he was a bit sad the first night because he was over the top, but that's who he is and that's why everyone loves him .
“I think he's a superstar the way he is.” It just takes a while if you're not used to it.
“It's like having a big child…that's how he sees me, I think it's brotherly, but I think he sees me as his father.”
“He's obviously annoying, but that's the Sam we know and love and I especially love him.” I hope he can continue to be the happy puppy he is.
“Due to his ADHD and autism, Sam struggles with boredom and many other things, but that shouldn't be seen as a bad thing.” I've read a lot of comments and think this is something that shouldn't define him.
“People should embrace that because he's entertaining and that's what the show is about.” He should stand out as being a really fun, positive guy, and that's his personality, aside from the fact that he has ADHD and autism has.”

After his win, Sam was also full of kind words when asked about Pete: “Pete is the best mate you could ask for.”
“He is not one of our immediate relatives and has been here for two weeks and is a rock in the surf for my girlfriend, who could not be there, as well as for my mother and my friends.”
“Even in the hotel now he shows me around and asks, ‘Are you okay, mate?’ I’ve never heard him do that before, he’s usually very strict!
“And with him at the end of the bridge, if it wasn't Zara, it was him. 'I'm just so lucky, I have a lot to thank him for.'
