This is a four-year, $160 million extension. At the time of signing, this is a five-year deal worth $183 million.

Thus, the average amount of new money is $40 million. The total cost at the time of signing is $36.6 million per year. The deal pays $63 million, fully guaranteed at signing.

Considering the market, this is a good deal for the Rams. And that almost makes up for Jared Goff’s $33.5 million a year in 2019.
