- What advice would you give to the next generation?: Don’t reluctantly say no! I have chosen to return twice in my career. I decided to go downhill, not only financially but also professionally. This allowed me to better understand who I am, relearn certain fundamentals and improve as a leader, because for me the best school remains the field. When we are led in different ways, we can highlight our own leadership qualities.
- Something that particularly motivates you: Novelty and innovation have always been sources of enthusiasm and motivation for me. In recent years, innovations in the field of sustainable development continue to be what drives me the most. It is the prospect of changing the perception of people around me on a topic like this and having ideas related to energy efficiency or environmentally conscious internal policies that allows me to stay motivated and curious at all times.
- An unusual fact: I talk too often! It seems that leaders are the people whose words and statements are most scrutinized. Well, the people around me are served. One of my specialties is making up words or even sentences that don’t make much sense. A colleague even keeps a book of my favorite expressions so I can use it when I’m in my half-cooked… Or is it a well-cooked one?
- What would be the soundtrack of your life?: The soundtrack of my life is extremely diverse. I am a person who lives from music; it gives me the best ideas. I also let the overflow drain through them. I like to share music and the emotions it triggers in me. For this reason, campaign music for me is also something that changes the scope of an ad (think…).Quebec Tourism Alliance, For example). At work my choice ends on Hans Zimmer, Charlotte Cardin, Mumford and sons. The weekend is more Alan Walker, Kygo And Tyler Childers.
With a BAA from UQAM, I worked in hotel marketing for six years and even taught the course at Cégep. On the other hand, I always knew that I wanted to work in an agency. Every fiber of my being told me that the fast-paced environment, the creativity and the variety of projects were for me. That’s why I took the leap to an agency 10 years ago and don’t regret it.
