Tonight, users of the social network reported difficulties accessing the application in many countries, including France.
Instagram was down for just over an hour in France last night, BFMTV noted, while thousands of French-speaking social media users reported difficulties accessing the social network.
The DownDetector website, which lists the various website outages, published around 21,000 notifications for the application in France around 00:20 on Monday, compared to just 549 fifteen minutes earlier. In the United States, at around 12:20 a.m. (Paris time), more than 104,000 reports were made. At around 12:50 p.m., a peak of 186,000 reports was reached across the Atlantic.
The incident gradually ended from 1:30 a.m., BFMTV reported.
Many affected countries
In many countries (Colombia, Italy, Brazil, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa, Japan, etc.), a peak in reports was observed overnight from Sunday to Monday.
