Intel Core i9-14900KS spotted online in supposedly real image – notebookcheck.biz

If a new leak turns out to be true, Intel could soon release another high-end desktop processor for PC makers. Currently, the Core i9-14900K ($575 at Amazon) sits atop the Intel Core i9-13900KS lineup with a fresh coat of paint. His successor could be announced soon if a new leak proves accurate.

X @9550Pro I found what looks like a Core i9-14900KS in the wild. The leaker, who obtained the image from QQ (a Chinese instant messaging service), said he could not determine whether the sample was legitimate or would be published. Intel may unveil the Core i9-14900KS with 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores at CES 2024. The processor is expected to increase the number of P-cores and E-cores.

The processor is said to increase the clock speed of the P cores to 6.2 GHz, which is slightly higher than the 6.0 GHz of the Core i9-13900KS. This will come with a corresponding increase in energy consumption and an expected price tag of $800. However, this processor is not aimed at everyday users and will likely be exploited by extreme overclockers who have already managed to push a Core i9-14900KF to 9.0GHz on a single core.
