Intel’s Meteor Lake chips are expected to launch in the coming weeks on December 14th. However, only the Core i5 and Core i7 models will initially be available; the Core i9 variants are expected to come onto the market in mid-201024. The entry-level Intel Core Ultra 5 135H was featured on Geekbench alongside an unknown laptop.
The Meteor Lake processor achieved scores of 1,120 and 1,144 in the single-core test of Geekbench 5.4 in two runs, with a corresponding multi-core score of 9,502 and 9,587. It operates at a base frequency of 3.6 GHz and can reach up to 4.38 GHz. Geekbench shows that the Core Ultra 5 135H is a 14-core, 18-thread CPU, which suggests it has four performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and two energy-efficient cores.
In terms of performance, the Core Ultra 5 135H is a world away from the Core i5-13500H in the single-core range (1,749 average), although multi-core performance is significantly closer (10,908). This disparity is explained by the fact that the sample was pre-production material. Its little brother, the Core Ultra 5 125Ha, scored 2,208 and 11,563 points in Geekbench 6.2. So we can expect the Core Ultra 5 135H to appear, and we’ll have to wait for a Geekbench 6.2 listing to appear to determine the performance difference between the two.
