Inter Miami are in advanced talks to sign Luis Suarez. This would be another stunning signing for the team and Major League Soccer.
Suarez played alongside Lionel Messi at Barcelona and their families were very close. They won the Champions League together and formed a legendary strike partnership with Brazilian striker Neymar.
Gaston Edul, reporting for TyC Sports in Argentina, said Suarez and Miami have been negotiating for months and progress has been made.
Miami co-owner Jorge Mas previously promised to bring “three or four” more players of Messi’s caliber to Inter Miami.
Suarez, 36, last played for Brazilian team Gremio but has enjoyed a glittering career in Europe. Before Barcelona, he had three exciting seasons at Liverpool and also played for Ajax and Atlético Madrid.
