Big striker Luis Suarez is reportedly close to signing with Inter Miami CF for next season, which could bring him back alongside his great FC Barcelona accomplice, Lionel Messi.
Spanish newspaper El País reported on Thursday that the Uruguayan would be able to work with the Florida team from January and would sign a one-year contract with the possibility of an extension.

The 36-year-old Suarez has been playing in South America since July 2022. He initially returned to his training club Nacional in Uruguay before signing with Gremio in Brazil. His contract with the organization ends on December 31st and he will be free as air.
Messi and Suarez played together for six years at Barcelona, notably winning the Champions League in 2015. Their partnership was one of the most productive in Spanish La Liga history, especially when Neymar completed their attacking trio. In Miami, the center forward could also reunite with his former “Blaugrana” teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
Inter Miami is looking for a new top striker after firing the productive Josef Martinez. Suarez, a former Liverpool and Atlético Madrid player, has shown he can still turn heads after scoring ten goals and as many assists with Gremio this season.
