Inter Miami will hold a special ceremony ahead of their next MLS home game to present their historic League Cup trophy.
The MLS club, co-owned by David Beckham, clinched their first Silver Cup on Saturday night after an incredible run to the League Cup final, inspired by summer signing Lionel Messi.
Miami triumphed over Nashville SC in a dramatic penalty shoot-out that ended 10-9 after Drake Callender saved fellow goalkeeper Elliot Panicco’s penalty.
To celebrate their momentous title, Inter Miami will present the trophy to their fans at home ahead of the next league game, the club announced on Sunday.
Inter Miami next return to Fort Lauderdale on August 30 where, ironically, they meet Nashville again, this time in the league.
