On November 28th, Giving Tuesday at Amerikahaus is all about social commitment
On International Giving Day, Giving Tuesday, interested parties, committed people, sponsors, local initiatives and clubs come together for the 9th time at a festival. At Amerikahaus on November 28th from 5pm, those interested will have the opportunity to learn about various opportunities to get involved with local organizations in Munich and support them. There are more than 25 Munich organizations on site that are committed to various social projects. On this day, they provide information about their daily work, their goals and explain how you can actively support them – with money, time and/or in-kind donations.
Various attractive objects are auctioned for a good cause at a donation auction. The panel discussion, which deals with the theme “Abundance and Peace for All – Paths to Peace”, also promises an exciting exchange. In addition to a varied support program, there will be a concert by Adriano and Friends at the end.
Organizations participating in the festival include “Christmas on the Street”, “Munich Volunteers”, “Momo Listens”, “Culture Space Munich”, “Your Neighbor eV” and more.
The location was not chosen by chance: Giving Tuesday is a global and open movement from the USA and the response to global consumption on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The following Tuesday has been dedicated for several years to the theme of donation and focuses on social commitment, donations and aid campaigns.
