International fans are exploding on networks urging players to leave

Melgar made history in the Copa Sudamericana, qualifying for the semifinals for the first time in his history after being eliminated International from Brasil. The Red-Blacks’ victory took the entire continent and the foreign press by surprise. Carlos Cáceda was one of the characters and caused different reactions; however, not all is happiness.

The fall of the Porto Alegre side has sparked anger and an outburst in the “torcedores” of the team led by Mano Menezes. Some fans are asking about some players’ heads after the debacle in the continental tournament.

The Colorado coach was not spared criticism either, with fans hailing his poor job at the helm of Internacional.

The main criticism from Inter fans was aimed at midfielders Edenilson and Taison.

“Taison failed in everything he tried today. Seems like it was a warning of what was about to happen”, “The season just didn’t end on 8/11 because we haven’t crashed yet. 13 points are missing, then you can take collective leave. Edenilson and Taison have to go today”, “I was the biggest supporter of Mano’s work. If after today Edenilson, Taison, Caio Vidal don’t escape and positive results are visible; “Bye Mano Menezes, I’m selling a Taison shirt at a good price,” read the Twitter comments from Colorado fans.
