The Washington-based CFC mentioned this Cuba, who was elected to the Council in 2020the same year that Russia, China and Pakistan joined, was one of 24 countries that voted against suspending Russia, including Nicaragua.
“The events of the past two months have shown it the failure to legitimize these regimes that are actively hostile to international human rights standardssaid the CFC.
Cuban regime ‘has been at the forefront of undermining international human rights standards for decades’ he added.
