The Snapchat video, which appeared to have been taken on Wednesday, quickly went viral on social media, forcing the school to act quickly.
The footage shows a white male employee, wearing a green shirt, standing facing a black student who is facing him.
“What are you looking at, n—–?” the man asks the student aggressively.

Adding, “We strive every day to ensure each of our students learns in a safe, inclusive learning environment, and today for many, Hempstead falls short of that expectation.”
