It is finished. The new iPhone 15 series has been shipping to Apple customers since Friday. The experts did not shy away from taking a closer look at the performance of these new iPhones. This is especially true for Mrwhosetheboss, who has just published a video on YouTube in which he examines the autonomy of these four new phones. We show you this test below.
The iPhone 15 Plus champion of autonomy?
On paper, Apple already announces a hierarchy. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to have the longest battery life for video playback at 25 hours, compared to 20 hours for the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Plus.
However, the experts came to different conclusions by relying on their traditional simulation, which includes watching TikTok videos, watching videos on Zoom, playing video games and recording videos through the camera. The phone screen stays on until the device turns off.
Under this regime we get completely different results than those of the tech giant. In fact, the iPhone 15 Plus performs best with a battery life of 13 hours and 19 minutes. The iPhone 15 Pro Max follows with 11 hours and 41 minutes. The basic iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 perform less well with 9h20 and almost 10h battery life, respectively.
As always, you have to be very careful with these results because not everyone uses their iPhone in the same way. We will therefore wait for further tests to find out for sure.
